Every time I started Pidgin, it would pop up 2 dialogs asking about users in my MSN account that where either not in a group or in another group or whatever.
Whatever I replied, they would simply return the next time I started Pidgin.
I fixed the problem by removing the following two files
Code: | ~/.purple/blist.xml
~/.purple/prefs.xml
|
Of course, I am stuffed as to why pidgin stores it's data in .purple, rather than .pidgin but there you go. _________________ ...Lyall |

I beleive that is because it uses libpurple as a library for this kind of stuff.
Since libpurple is a library, any other program that uses it can use the same contact info. This leads to greater integration propects...which can be a good thing or a bad thing.... |
