Hello
iam emerging kde 3.5 from portage, emerge kdebase kdenetwork kdelibs, and after installed many other packages i got an error

configure: error:
you need to install kdelibs first
If you did install kdelibs, then Qt version that is picked up by this configure is not the same version you used to compile kdelibs. The Qt Plugin installed by kdelibs is *ONLY* loadable if it is the _same Qt version_, compiled with _same compiler_ and the same Qt configuration settings. |
aim unmerged all qt, qt plugins etc... then run emerge kde... again,but it take me same error
help please:) |

Did you recompile QT 3.x *after* kdelibs?
If so, you need to recompile kdelibs against the new QT version. After that, remember to run revdep-rebuild just in case. |

ye i already recompile but w/o success. So as u said, iam trying to recompile kdelibs. Thank you for your help.
Iam gonna leave message here after do it
PS. little question, how can i set kernel output console, i mean ALT+12 mostly used for kernel output. But i dont know where is setting up ? After recompile kernel it doesn work for me :/ |
