I didn't knew where to place this, I hope "Other things" is ok..
I hava a fresh installation of texlive-core and running latex in kile as editor. When compiling I get a error message:
Code: |
/usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/generic/babel/ngermanb.ldf:0: No hyphenation patterns were loaded for(babel) the language `ngerman'(babel) I will use the patterns loaded for \language=0 instead.
|
and german hyphenation really is not working.. Has anyone a idea what to do?
Thanks

If you really want to work with latex you should not only install texlive-core: these are just the very basic tools needed for other packages. You should install instead texlive with appropriate useflags and LINGUAS settings. |
