I'm automounting my flash disk with autofs.I want to unmount it before I remove it so that it won't break.Does anybody know how to do that?

| I don't know autofs, but doesn't regular umount work? It certainly does with ivman+hal. Do you use a desktop environment? |

| I tried umount,but apparently it doesn't work with autofs.I'm using xfce but I don't have hald installed.Should I install it? |

| I decided to use the standard fstab + xfce's mount applet .It lets me mount / unmount the flash disk easily. |
