|
|
I had quite a time spent on trying to figure out how would be possible to install vista windows first and gentoo as a second OS.
The traditional way with the boot.ini is not any more available and the current command line BCD tool from microsoft is not very helpfull either.
However a guy is providing a free GUI BCD tool which makes life easy.
I have tried my self and it is working.
The link is below

and further information on how to use the program here:

I have post this information since it took me some hours browsing before I finally arrive to the solution.
Hope this info helps. _________________ Via Veritas Vita |

I am experimenting all the time with Gentoo, and I want Vista to be the stable part.
At this stage I did not want to interfere with the MBR.
I wanted a solution that would be windows orientated so I can freely experiment with Gentoo without losing any data. _________________ Via Veritas Vita |
