|
|
Hi,
I've (re)-installed gentoo recently, but when I've tried to configure Xorg's keyboard layout without success.
I've done it a couple times and never had any issue with it though, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
My keyboard physical layout is "be" (Belgium), variant "latin1"
Excerpt of my xorg.conf (relevant part) :
Code: | Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Keyboard1"
Driver "kbd"
Option "AutoRepeat" "500 30"
Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
Option "XkbModel" "logicdpa2"
Option "XkbLayout" "be"
EndSection |
Does anyone may have an idea ? I'm using the last version of everything (arch user) as of today.
Have tried different things already, but any idea is welcomed.

Many Thanks,

Hi,
Well, it isn't completely fixed yet.
My "basic" layout works fine, but I can't use "Alt Gr" + something, thus I can't compose accent.
It seems that it only occurs when I'm in OpenOffice ... it works in other programs like kwrite, firefox ... weird.
Anyone has an idea ?
Thanks,
Maxime
[EDIT]
Found the solution, you have to define the locales :
