when i run cpufreq-info ,it says : no or unknown cpufreq driver is active on this cpu . My cpu is pentium-m on T43 thinkpad.

how to do with it ?

Hi, do you have some frequence scalling inside your .config ?

Also, I think that you need a certain package to enable the CPU Freq.

What have you enabled here (in kernel):

-> Power management options -> CPU Frequency scaling (under *** CPUFreq processor drivers ***).

Basically you need the correct driver there. On 2.6.26 it should be most likely "ACPI Processor P-States driver". If that fails, then try "Intel Enhanced SpeedStep (deprecated)".

I use 2.6.25-r7

I select "ACPI Processor P-States driver" in kernel .

You could try enabling the other option I mentioned above.
