Anyone here subscribe to the 2CPU.com forums? I've just installed Gentoo 1.4 and was pretty impressed this time around with it (previously installed 1.2). |

I'm not a member; on the other hand I do have a dual pentium 3 computer.
And if I get two more pentium3 processors, I have enough parts to get a second dual box up
SMP systems are awsome |

I used to be a member before I got annoyed by the off topic forum and some particularly puerile/simplistic posts.
I've got dual P4 Xeon 1.8s. Gentoo runs great on them. |

Now would be the time as prices are much cheaper on those motherboards. I have the ASUS A7M266D and like it very much. I've also had the MSI K7D-L and Tyan Tiger MP. I've installed Gentoo on my Asus motherboard and I'm thinking of putting it on my dual Xeon or dual PIII as well. If your interested in putting together an SMP system check out 2CPU like you have been as there is a wealth of knowledge to be gleaned. |
