Hi Guys,
I installed kde with emerge kdebase-startkde, I want to upgrade and all I'm getting is this.

Code:

subdural tmp # emerge -pv kdebase-startkde

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild R ] kde-base/kdebase-startkde-3.5.9 USE="arts -debug -kdeenablefinal -xinerama" 0 kB

Total: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 kB

I see on http://www.gentoo-portage.com/kde-base/kdebase-startkde that 3.5.10 so why can't i upgrade?
I haven't got any kde packages specified in /etc/portage/*

I would love to goto 4.1!

3.5.10 is hard masked. This sugests that it is very unstable - such as doesn't compile most of the time or crashes all the time.
