team gentoo,
I just reconfigured my kernel to work better for my hardware. Unfortunately, when I try to book from this kernel I get a blank screen. How do I troubleshoot. and possibly figure out what the problem is. thx! |

I may be wrong but I think you get such problems if you dont have a framebuffer device compiled into kernel. _________________ i7 3930K @ 4GHz

Yes You must be right!!! I took the vga statement out of my grub menu and it boots fine.
I guess I changed some kind of framebuffer option. hmm I'll have to check this. |
