Hello,
since some weeks i have an wrong visualization of some characters in the shell, and when im logged like root also a very bad visualization of man pages.

this is a screenshot of man page of man, for show how is the visualization:

I have been searched in the web and forums but i didn't find where is the problem.

If someone need more informations ask me and i will give you them.

Wish there was an easy way to search for this, but yeah, someone had the bright idea to change default nroff settings... so you're not the only one (including me, since I had a non-default less(1) options in the environment variable $LESS)

You can also put this in your $HOME/.bashrc file. It makes less work great
