Hi all,
I just installed gentoo and my wireless isn't working. I tried using ath5k, ath_pci, and ndiswrapper
this is my wireless device:

and the only relative thing i can find in dmesg is:
Code: | ath_hal: 0.9.18.0 (AR5210, AR5211, AR5212, RF5111, RF5112, RF2413, RF5413)
wlan: 0.9.4
ath_pci: 0.9.4
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:14:00.0[A] -> GSI 19 (level, low) -> IRQ 19
PCI: Setting latency timer of device 0000:14:00.0 to 64
wifi%d: unable to attach hardware: 'Hardware didn't respond as expected' (HAL status 3)
ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:14:00.0 disabled
ath_pci: driver unloaded
ath_pci: 0.9.4
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:14:00.0[A] -> GSI 19 (level, low) -> IRQ 19

and

ndiswrapper: driver net5211 (,06/21/2007,5.3.0.56) loaded

ndiswrapper: device eth%d removed
ndiswrapper: probe of 0000:14:00.0 failed with error -22

I realise that the ndiswrapper problem may be because I am using the 32 bit windows XP driver, but It used to work perfectly beofre! Perhaps I missed something in the kernel!
Any help would be appreciated please! Unless I get this thing working really fast I am going to face lots of trouble at school!
thanks in advance
