Looking at the output of `equery l -p ftp` reveals quite a few options as to which ftp server to use.
I have a friend who wishes to allow users ftp access to their home/web directory. Their home will be their web directory so it's one and the same. Is there an ftp server that stands above the rest in this respect? Personally, I use ssh and scp. I've never needed to set up an ftp server before. A reliable, easy to setup and maintain ftp server would be ideal.
Any tips?

That was one of my candidates. In the end, I went with proftpd. |
