Ciao a tutti,
da stamattina non riesco più ad accede alla stampante di rete condivisa da cups tramite samba. Recentemente ho cambiato gli indirizzi della mia rete locale, passando da 192.168.1.0/24 a 172.16.210.0/28 wired + 172.16.210.240/28 wireless, ma ho riportato correttamente i cambiamenti nei vari file di configurazione.

Purtroppo non riesco ad accede alla stampante condivisia, segnalando un
Code:

Le credenziali fornite non sono sufficienti ad accedere alla stampante. Specificare nuove credenziali?

user e password sono quelli che uso per accedere alla risorse di samba, che funziona perfettamente. Il client è Windows XP SP3. Di seguito riporto il mio cupsd.conf

sono un idiota, dovete rotolullarmi! :D
allora, cancellare le directory /var/cache/samba e /var/cache/cups ha portato alla luce il problema, cioè che non avevo cambiato l'indirizzo in /etc/hosts!!!!

veramente è samba che ha questo problema della cache dalla 2.0 e non lo ha ancora risolto (in pratica usa sempre le stesse informazioni, se cambi macchina o reinstalli windows poi è un casino per accedere da od a linux, lo ho scoperto a suo tempo dopo una giornata di bestemmie).
Nel tuo caso ti ha nascosto il vero problema.
