hi, i found this thread here....

and in english.... on babelfish
and basically i've got the exact same problem that's driving me nuts. my devfsd.conf file contains Code: | REGISTER vl4/.* PERMISSIONS root.video 666 | but the rights on the created device are still just 600 and owned by chris:root. what's going on here?

The rights are changed by a pam module. Take a look at /etc/security/console.perms and remove/comment

ahh someone had mentioned pam about this before, but only within the context of the dsvfsd config file. cheers i'll look out for that. |
