devfs rights to v4l devices

hi, i found this thread here....

and basically i've got the exact same problem that's driving me nuts. my devfsd.conf file contains

The rights are changed by a pam module. Take a look at /etc/security/console.perms and remove/comment

ahh someone had mentioned pam about this before, but only within the context of the dsvfsd config file. cheers i'll look out for that.
