|

I updated my kernel from 2.6.25 to 2.6.26-r1 recently. And I could not find "CAPI2.0 capidrv interface support" in the menuconfig of kernel 2.6.26 anymore. Without capidrv module I cannot start /etc/init.d/isdn for isdnlog. Does anyone know how I could load capidrv module from the kernel 2.6.26? |

It's under ISDN support, where it's always been. Make sure you're set to see the experimental and new drivers.
Blessed be!

Thank you for your answer. But the ".config - Linux Kernel v2.6.26-gentoo-r1 " does NOT have 'capidrv interface support' under ISDN support like following.
--- CAPI 2.0 subsystem
[*] Verbose reason code reporting
[*] CAPI trace support
[*] CAPI2.0 Middleware support (EXPERIMENTAL)
<M> CAPI2.0 /dev/capi support
[*] CAPI2.0 filesystem support
*** CAPI hardware drivers ***
[*] Active AVM cards --->
[*] Active Eicon DIVA Server cards --->
You said...

Where can I set those? |

According to what I read, it uses capidrv.c. To me, that means it's the same thing in a different package. Just look at the module names. If that doesn't fix it, then write a bug report to kernel.org. They are probably more likely to know what bit of digital wizardry makes the kernel work, and the driver you desire.

That setting is one of the first settings. But since you seem to have the option showing up, it appears as if that won't be a problem.
Blessed be!
