"Hotspot Shield creates a virtual private network (VPN) between your laptop and the wireless router. AND…it’s FREE! And installation is very simple using your web browser."
Someone knows about a similar tool on Linux for Gentoo? |

I think you misread their website, it has nothing to do with your wireless router.
They provide a VPN between your computer and their own gateway machine, and the connection is sponsored by advertising.
There is plenty of VPN software available for Linux, and it probably could be configured to work with their service if you really wanted it to. |

When I tried this software I don't see any advertising stuff. I'm not interesting with wireless router itselft. I just looking for similar software like Hotsopt Shield but for Linux, better if it's base on opensource, . Check the link that I put on my previous post to see the features. If you know some very similar software can you give me a name or better a link? |
