|
|
Hi there!
I'm having a weird behaviour of the temperature in the /sys/*/thermal_zone0. I can cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp for hours without having the temperature changed, but after a cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/temperature /sys reports the same temperature as /proc. So /proc is kind of monitoring while /sys does nothing. cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/polling_frequency says <polling disabled> and it seems only to affect /sys, not /proc (weird, isn't it?)! I know that /sys used to work before, any ideas what happend?
Current kernel is tuxonice-sources-2.6.25-r7, installed 072708. I will retry with an older kernel and will report back, but maybe somebody knows anything about this...
Greetz and thx 4 ur help!
[EDIT:] Works again with 2.6.27-tuxonice. Marked as solved. _________________ Gentoo 2008.0/desktop | Kernel: 2.6.27-tuxonice | Arch: amd64 | KDE 3.5.9 | WU Wien |
