What package do I need to emerge to get ident services running on my box? I've checked for pidentd, the one I normally used under other distros, but no dice. What are you guys using for ident services?
Thanks! _________________ man goes into cage, cage goes into salsa, shark's in the salsa.. our shark.. |

Thanks! Is there one in particular that requires the least config? Which do you prefer? _________________ man goes into cage, cage goes into salsa, shark's in the salsa.. our shark.. |

fakeidentd probably has the least trivial config.
bash-2.05# fakeidentd username
username is the response you want fakeidentd to give.
pimpd is another (standards compliant) identd server in portage. |
