Hi guys

I am a Gentoo user from Pakistan and have trouble installing a Wireless Telephone set.
The set is a HUAWEI one and it's model number is ETS2552.
It connects to PC through USB->USB cable.

It does come with drivers for Windows and I have found a guide for Linux as well http://www.openpages.info/huawei.html but that works for a different model.

Here are my dmesg logs after I connect the cable:

Code:
hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 6
usb 4-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
usb 4-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

Can anybody guide me to what Kernel settings i have to do so that the device can be recognized?

Thanks in Advance

Check for USB-Serial drivers. Usually these cards create a ttyUSBX for usage.
