Salve ragazzi, ultimamente ho notato che, quando cerco di riprodurre i filmati di alcuni siti, mplayerplug-in va in crash.
La casistica è piuttosto complessa:
- per quanto riguarda siti come ansa.it, mplayerplug-in muore e blocca firefox.
Per sbloccare la situazione, devo killare il processo <defunct> di mplayerplug-in, che chiude anche Firefox.
- per quanto riguarda il tg1, non riesco a riprodurre il video e mplayerplug-in muore, ma non c'è bisogno di killare subito il processo perché Firefox mantiene il controllo.
- con lo streaming del tg5 non ho alcun problema.
Questi sono solo siti d'esempio, che però ricalcano tutte le varianti finora incontrate.
Alcuni mesi fa ero all'estero e guardavo quotidianamente tutti questi streaming senza alcun problema, quindi dev'essere accaduto qualcosa successivamente.
Avviare Firefox da console non offre alcuna informazione e non so dove andare a parare.
La mia Gentoo box è un profilo 32bit stabile con Xfce, aggiornato Lunedì.

Piccolo aggiornamento: dopo aver ricompilato invano Firefox e mplayerplug-in nei giorni scorsi, oggi ho aggiornato il sistema e si è installato Flash 10.
Non ho notato grossi cambiamenti, fatta eccezione per il fatto che i video del sito ansa sembrano partire, un breve suono viene emesso, salvo poi piantarsi tutto come descritto nel precedente post.
Il fatto che nessuno risponde mi suggerisce che sia un problema tutto mio... cercherò di venirne a capo e posterò eventuali aggiornamenti.

Altro piccolo aggiornamento: mascherando la flag gtk per mplayerplug-in e riemergendolo ho risolto il problema numero 1, quello dei video ansa.
Rimane il secondo, per cui sto navigando nei forum e su google in cerca di una soluzione. E comunque, in precedenza tutto funzionava correttamente anche con gtk abilitato.
Rispetto a quando il plug-in funzionava, non ho aggiunto pacchetti e non ho modificato le flag USE, ho solo aggiornato regolarmente il profilo stabile.
Ringrazio anticipatamente quanti perdono tempo, anche silenziosamente, con questo mio thread.
