|
|
I tried to either use an windows applications or the install it with wine but got always the same error.
Code: |
> wine CitrixSAClient.exe
ALSA lib pcm_dsnoop.c:574:(snd_pcm_dsnoop_open) unable to open slave
|
Since ALSA has nothing to do with the application, is there a way of disabling it during this process? |

you could try playing around with winecfg, but i don't think you can disable dsnoop if you're using alsa sound. don't hold me to it, but you might be able to run wine without any sound interaction at all, not sure if that's a solution.

I ran winecfg and disabled the "ALSA pilot" in the "audio" tab but now wine executes the command without doing anything. The command seems to execute but nothing happens or appears.
Is there a log file somewhere? |

you can try increasing wine's verbosity:
http://www.winehq.org/site/docs/winedev-guide/wine-debugger
if that doesn't get you anywhere, it might be on citrix's end.
