after using startx all i get is a blank screen?SOLVED

ok emerged x11-apps/mesa-progs.tried X -configure , X -config /root/xorg.conf.new,and still got the same errors i posted earlier.
the test screen works,but when i get out of it i still get that message cant use dri.
anyway here's the out put of glxinfo | grep direct :

Change your VIDEO_CARDS="intel" in /etc/make.conf and emerge -uDN world

Also it would be a good idea to switch to a 2008.0/desktop profile, so you will have all the use flags needed for consistent X sessions.
