Hello
Today as usually i started my vmware virtual machine and it hanged (vmware console).
I found vmware-serverd took 100% CPU. No errors in logs. Could not resolve the issue, so i:
emerge --sync
emerge --unmerge vmware-server
(deleted remaining any files like kernel modules except VMachine files and config)
emerge vmware-server
and after installing new vmware (which was the same as previous one because no new ebuild)
i tried configuration:
Code: |
arrakis ~ # /opt/vmware/server/bin/vmware-config.pl

What's wrong ? I did not change anything. Kernel: 2.6.25-gentoo-r7. Why it did not build kernel modules ?
Thanx for any help |

VMware-server isn't working for me too.
The vmmon mod cannot be loaded here. (see dmesg after modprobe vmmon for details) |
