Hi,
I need a Directory / Filesync software like that
http://jfilesync.sourceforge.net/
The Problem on this Software is, that this Software contains a view heavy Bugs. And on my System, the Software does not work correctly.
If you have any substitution please tell me.
What I need:
Syncronisation of 2 Directorys with action overview. With a GUI.
Sync by Filename and modification Date
Sync by Content

Hello Tux12Fun,
I'm using net-misc/unison to sync some directorys via NFS of my Laptop and Desktop.
For syncing lot of sourcecode I use dev-util/meld.
Both of them have pro and cons - depending on the job to do.
Perhaps this is wat you're looking for. |

rsync works great to synchronize directories. It has a lot of options and the manpage provides examples too. |

Qsync is a Qt-based front end for rsync. Never tried the front end, but use rsync for backups. See rsnapshot |
