from what i understand compiz and beryl are the same package, more or less. they do all the same stuff (cube etc)...

"emerge -av compiz" would be what you would want to run, yes.

if you really want beryl, or want a newer version of compiz than what's in the portage tree, you might be interested in the desktop-effects overlay.

http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/desktop-effects.git;a=tree

cheers

Yes, beryl merged into the compiz-fusion project. It's compiz-fusion you want.

i'm just instal KDE 4.1.2? but in the configuration of desktop, tab Effects is not active, and write a message
"Compositing is not supported on your system, it was disabled at compile time. it's likly Xorg developmet headers not instaled"
What shell i do to have such effects like glass and others?

in portage i have no find Xorg developmet headers.

When i install KDE i was run emerge kde-meta.

maybe i must emerge xorg-x11 to?

seriosly... you have a big problem with your english...

Consult this doc about how to use "use flags". You need it, no way around:
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=2&chap=2

then set the xcomposite in your use flags

This is a full list of the use flags and what they mean. It is optional for you to read it, but I would recomend that you save it in your bookmarks, so that when you install a new package you will know what a specific use flag should do:
http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/use-index.xml

Hi from Bulgaria ;)
You probably *should* install your graohic adapter as well. Post lspci | grep -i vga
After this you need to make the initial xorg configuration http://www.gentoo-wiki.info/Xorg/Install#Default:_Automatic_Generation_of_xorg.conf
and then enable compozite extension: http://www.gentoo-wiki.info/Compiz_Fusion
Cheers
