kde-4.1.2 no text in tooltips

Hi ! Despite more annoying issues in kde 4, this is the most annoying thing for me :
I cant see any text in the tooltips when I put the mouse cursor over folders in Dolphin and Konqueror .
Any clue ? Thank you !

Well... because I am already here ... :
- how can I have back the behavior of the 3.5.x konsole ? In that old version I was able to see in the taskbar, the number and what is emerged.
- can I have back like in kde 3.5 the image preview in tooltips ?

Don't tell me to change back to kde 3.5 !!! I'm an update addict

...probably like the vast majority of gentoo users

Thank you Kollin for the konsole tip ! It work .

Well, the tooltip issue is still on ... Yesterday night I saw that the same problem is with the font viewer : no text but only 2 lines (in tooltips I can see just one line

Today I want to see if I have the same behavior with the tooltips ....
well , in the root account, I don't have any problem with text in tooltips .
I looked over the font settings and it seems that the settings are the same like in normal user account ...
