Witam.
Posiadam irivera t60 (w temacie dałem również t50 który podobno poza większymi gabarytami niczym się nie różni).
Niestety nie potrafie musić go do działania pod Linuksem, gdzieś wyczytałem, że pracuje na MTP (chyba, choć teraz już nie mam pojęcia) jednak mtpfs po fuse nie wykrył urządzenia, Przez VirtualBoksa a w nim winXP playerek działa i śmiga bez żadnych sterowników, widzi go generalnie jako pendrive, jednak w dmesg mam jedynie:

Player posiada 4G pamięci - jak to ugryźć? Przeczytałęm w necie troche nt. konwersacji MTP na MSC/UMS i niestety żaden sposób nie zadziałał.

| Pewnie, dalej kupa. z tego co wynalazłem na CD który dostałęm do irivera ten player jest już w UMS i działa np. na każdym windowsie bez żadnych sterowników cczy WindowsMediaPlayera >=10. Przypomina mi to problem który kiedyś miałem z pendrive pentagramu, również zonk był. Jak znajde chwile zbootuje jakieś łubuntu livecd coby odkryć, czy może w kernelu brak mi czegoś do obsługi tego sprzętu. |

Nie bardzo.
Added: No to tak, jak tylko doładuje akumulatorek i wymienie w playerze przerobie go CrossUpdater'em od iRiver'a na MTP i będe go używał przez amaroka, który wspiera mtp. Ew. jak poczuje moć jedi przerobie go z_powrotem na UMS i może wtedy zadziała.

Jestem w posiadaniu irivera t50 w wersji 1GB. U mnie na gentoo (także na innych linuxach) wykrywa mi sprzęt bezproblemowo i zgrywanie odbywa sie poprzez menadżery plików. Czyli u mnie chodzi poprzez drag&drop i bez dodatkowego programu/sterownika.

| Z tego co wyczytałem, UMS w T60 to jakiś zart linux unfriendly, T50 działa jak bajka. |

Troche odkopuje. Nie wiem co jest tego przyczyną (może hal?) ale zainstalowałem sobie ostatnio pcmanfm z halem, automount i te bajery, kernel mam 2.6.27 i... mp3 działa.

Ustatnio na domowym komputerze objawiło mi się to samo. Przyczyną był kernel gentoo-sources-2.6.26, po aktualizacji do .27 problem zniknął.
