Hello,

I have recently upgraded gcc to version 4.3.2 from gcc 4.1.2, in the process I removed as much of Gnome and xorg-server as possible to make emerge -e system/world faster.

After recompiling with the new version of gcc I attempted to reinstall xorg-server with version 1.5.2, this version was working prior to the gcc upgrade and now results in this message when running the compile:
Code:

With all the things you have unmasked, from overlays, etc, good luck on getting help. (you're going to need it. :D)

Can you post more of the compile error plz - but not the whole thing - only from where the first error occurs plus 5 lines above that and the rest below that.

I know there's a drm-related bug with the xorg-server-1.5.2 build, but I get this even with USE=drm as per
the work-around.

Turned out this was due to dead legacy libGL links in /usr/lib. Have to delete these manually before emerging xorg-server.
