Hey,
I talked to a friend here at work about Wubi, a program to install Ubuntu from Windows. Is there such a program for Gentoo or has anybody thought about making something like this? Sounds interesting though. It would open up Gentoo to a wider public =). I know that there are still some (or alot?) issues with the installer from the live CD, but was just curious about this. ^_^ Wubi is a bit different if you compare it to the live CD installer. Just an executable which asks you a few simple questions and then it just downloads the latest ubuntu and installs it, making a dual-boot automatically. _________________ Calling atheism a religion, is like calling bald a hair colour. |

Won't really be possible with Gentoo - you choose what to install, and how your system behaves with USE flags &c. Not something which can be done with a few simple questions.
