|
|
Hi,
I got a rsync back up server back up, with many different modules that just works as a glance.
I just experienced an known problem: if a user deletes a file on his desktop, shuts the computer down (what runs the rsync script), the file gets obviously deleted as well on the backup server. what i want to do is to configure rsync not to delte the File on the server side, i want it to move to a Folder with the date's name.
but i dont know how.
any ideas? |

Man rsync and rsyncd.conf. You may be interested by --backup and --backup-dir |
