we always heard that *nix style file permission is not enough for some action
e.g. deny user A from group A accessing a certain file while other user X in group A can perform anything
yes, u can design a user/group hierarchy to do such thing but it's so much effort for ad-hoc
then i will ask "will it some day chmod/chown related utils is already ACL-capable?" or any filesystem modules just to be re-written so that "ACL" is not Extended feature anymore?

a system like that is indeed thinkable. but that would not be called UNIX. |

hm........SELinux really reminds me.......DAC on file attr
but it means process space as hell...........em.......
maybe i was wondering if any lazy tools to do this kind of admin job
rather than long and clumpsy cmdlines.....juz for sth small....... _________________ hackers - make sth real
