I found a way around making a stage 1 install... but something is messed up with the init.... /sbin/depscan.sh is either missing or is not setup right.
Anybody know how to set this up? _________________ Registered Linux User: 437619

/sbin/depscan.sh is part of baselayout-1
no longer part of baselayout-2, nor openrc
most probably not part of einit (yes, I saw your other post too ) _________________ Unanswered Post Initiative | Search | FAQ

So I guess you can just emerge the baselayout if you want to use sysV init? _________________ Registered Linux User: 437619
