Hi everyone,

I was using Networkmanager with nm-applet, and it worked fine, but now there is a problem :

when I right click on nm-applet I get this : "No network devices have been found".
I precise that everything was fine before.

So I want can I do ? Maybe I modify something that I shouldn't ?
thx

hi!

is your network card recognized at boottime? for this you can check your bootlog (dmesg or /var/log/dmesg).
have you installed new software or kernel versions? please give us more information...

Did you upgrade recently? Have you switched to baselayout-2 by any chance?

Hi,
I have the same problem.
After upgrading udev and openrc (with sysvinit) i can't connect via networkmanager (nm-applet).
nm-applet says "no network devices available" but ifconfig looks good
thanks
