I have a strange problem here and I have no idea what I did to cause it (eek). One day I noticed in things like x-chat and pidgin and oo and others that i cannot use my arrow keys to move the curser. now i dont know where to start or how to better expain this. the keyboard is working just fine but eh?
i can use the arrow keys in games like wow and wc3 to navigate just fine - it just seems like my machine doesnt know when i use the arrow keys in text to move the curser...
any ideas? _________________ Don't ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody. |

My guess would be that you use evdev.
So change your keyboard model to evdev-managed keyboard from your DE's settings.
Hopefully this fixes it ... |
