I've been trying to look this up through Google, but so far no help.
I would like to disable boot-time fsck-ings while on battery using the standard sysvinit.
When I use einit, I get a "check deferred on battery" but sysvinit will spend the ten minutes to check regardless of my dwindling battery life.
Didn't know what other forum would be appropriate...
Thanks for any tips. |

dunno where the stuff is in openrc, but I was taking a look at this code for baselayout-1 just the other day...
wouldn't be hard to implement an if in there...
Also, I believe there is a "fastboot" file... if you can somehow generate that automatically..... _________________ iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAA

I will see how well putting "touch /fastboot" into local.start works
at least then I can have a modicum of control over it
by the way tune2fs -c ## seems to have had no affect on duration of boot time fscks...
thanks for the suggestion |
