Occasionally, my system will not poweroff after remounting devices read-only at the end of a shut down, it just freezes and requires holding down the power button for five seconds to power off. I'm pretty sure that this started, and was worse, in 2.6.26, but it's still happening in 2.6.27. Curiously, I've never seen it fail to reboot, and I probably do that more often than shut down. I can't really debug it since it happens only occasionally, and I'm not really sure how with something that happens at the end of a shut down. :\ I do have all the usual ACPI stuff enabled; the motherboard is in my sig. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

No, it didn't. And I recently tested with vanilla 2.6.27, the same bug occurs.
