Has anyone set up a qt-fb or gtk+fb environment ?

For my older computers I am thinking about trying a non-X system, and I see that there are versions of gtk+ and qt that are for compiling against the framebuffer. Has anyone tried installing gnome/kde/whatever with a framebuffer or other environment?

Qt is, as far as I know, not yet ported to DirectFB... I do not know the status of GTK+/2, however.

I general, I think this is still quite experimental... Which is just another reason to try it... ;-)
