Im trying to change the DocumentRoot (location of my htdocs folder), from the default of...

/var/www/localhost/htdocs |
To..
So I added the line

DocumentRoot "/home/htdocs" |
To the file..

/etc/apache/hhtpd.conf |
Then made the directory, and restarted apache, put a new index.html file in my new (supposed) htdocs folder, and it hasnt appeared, it seems apache is still using the old htdocs folder under /var.
Im really stumped by this, I may be doing something completely wrong, but here is my hhtpd.conf

Crooksey,
The definition is in /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/default_vhost.include
Read the warning at the top of the file too
