I have gentoo installed on hdc1,2,3 and then I just installed Win2kserver on hdc4 to try to test it out. Now windows replaced my wonderful LILO with the stupid windows boot screen. I don't have a boot disk and I wondering if anyone could tell me how I can get my gentoo back. |

Hi,
you can use the gentoo install cd (you still have this right?).
Boot from the cd just as if you were installing from scratch, follow the install instructions (no need to bother with network) up until you chroot.
Once you've done this you're inside your gentoo and can configure lilo
as you see fit (include win2k perhaps?). Then type lilo and reboot.
That cd's really handy!
hope this helps,
