Hello

I upgraded to kernel gentoo-sources-2.628 and build with b43 (for my bcm4306 card).
I notice now in the dmesg the following messages :
Quote:
APIC error on CPU0: 00(40)
b43-phy0 ERROR: PHY transmission error

emerge --info is:

Did it work with a previous kernel? If so, write a bug report about it. You can either do it at the Gentoo bugzilla, or the kernel.org bugzilla (or both). There are lots of bugs flying about in 2.6.28. If things work with another kernel, you have found another bug.

Blessed be!

Hello,

Unfortunately I did not used b43 with previous kernel.
I will look at bugs (should have done that before but I found nothing useful in google)

As good as the forums are, writing bug reports, or looking them up is a much better way to find cures for your ills. It puts the problem before the eyes of those who know what to look for, and where to look for it. And with the .28 kernel version, there are lots of bugs to go around.

Blessed be!
Pappy
