Hi!

I've got this Notebook for 2 months now. And I have still the problem that suspend to ram is NOT possible (ok, it worked exactly one time and then never again).

My Gentoo is ~amd64. Intel Core2Duo 2x2GHz, 4GB DDR3, Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT, Intel HDA ALC-262 (lspci at the bottom).

Tried a lot of kernel versions. I have to use a 2.6.28 kernel, because of eth and wlan. But I also tried 26 and 27 (only because of suspend).
At the moment I'm running zen-sources 2.6.28-zen1.

The problem is: When I try to echo "mem" >> /sys/power/state everything SEEMS to work. But it doesn't. Screen turns black, the sys-fans are stopping, hdd is stopping too. . . and a few seconds later the system reboots :(

Things I've tried: /etc/init.d/xdm stop , rmmod nvidia . tried to suspend .. -> reboot
next: same as above, but unloaded everything else too. -> reboot

Here are my configs and logs: (if you need more , just ask for it)

Hm.. I read somewhere that nvidia-drivers >180.x can cause suspend to not work correctly. I'm using the most up to date nvidia beta-driver.
I'll test the stable 177 release in a few minutes. Wish me luck! ;)
