|
|
I'm installing Gentoo 1.2 onto a reasonably old, fairly cheap PC and at some point during the recompiled kernel booting, the video card starts displaying rubbish and the console locks up. Since I can install gentoo fine, if I can find the install kernel configuration file, I can strip it down until I get rid of what I don't want and/or find out what's giving my video card headaches.
So could someone point me at the config file? |

Your kernel config is in: /usr/src/linux/.config _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

Yeah, mine is, but I meant the one that was used to create the kernel on the CD? |

Oh... good luck with that one. I don't think it's included on the CD. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

Oooh, I found it, it's kept on the CVS repository here. |
