Was ich an der Sache nicht versteh ist, wieso mir emerge die linux-headers-2.4.19 installieren will.
1. Ich habe Kernel 2.4.20
2. Für was brauch ich extra Headers, wenn ich eh die Kernel-Sourcen installiert habe ?

man soll die headers fest nach /usr/include kopieren und keinen symbolischen link machen. Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere war das
desshalb, weil es besser ist wenn du Programme mit den Linuxheader installierst, mit denen auch die glibc-compiliert wurde, da gibt es irgendein posting von Linus zu. Schau mal unter www.linuxfromscratch.org, in der Anleitung gibt's das original posting http://lfs.linux-matrix.net/view/4.1/chapter06/kernel.html unter 'Why we copy the kernel headers and don't symlink them' |
