Hi there!

One question... Are there any active Tribes 2 players that would like to join a Gentoo clan?
Intention of this clan is not to be a competitive clan, but just to play with a gentoo tag...
I know that this will raise some more or less irrational emotions on some public servers, but
anyway it would be nice to play with a linux-related tag...

anyway there's a native linux port of tribes 2 since end of 2001... so there really should be some players around here... i guess :?
so no tribes peeps out there??? :(

I can barely play t2 anymore, the game always was flakey, but under a 2.6 kernel, half the time I connect to a server it will crash. Then if I make it in it will always lock at the next map load. sad.

www.tuxgames.com
You can't just download an installer. You have to buy the linux version (meaning you can't install the client from the windows cd).

Ya, that's the only problems I've really had with the game in linux. Most (or all... ) sounds don't fade. I haven't found a fixed for it as of yet.
