Hi,
I decided to download an iso image using Opera by what appears to be http.
http://ubuntu.univ-nantes.fr/ubuntu-cd/kubuntu/intrepid/kubuntu-8.10-alternate-i386.iso
On my pathetic ADSL connection conky tells me I'm getting 64k/s download but also shows 2k/s upload.
Now there must be some handshaking going on but what can account to 16 kbaud of upward traffic?
TIA, Gentree. ![Cool 8)](images/smiles/icon_cool.gif) _________________ Linux, because I'd rather own a free OS than steal one that's not worth paying for.

there's a LOT of upload in a tcp connection... think about how it works..
Anyway, considering that could be rounded up, it makes perfect sense. _________________ iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAA
