i have an ibook2.
i was wondering if its possible to configure pmud to actually put the computer into a hibernation state.
by this, i mean writing the computer state (cpu state, memory state, etc) to a binary file and turn itself completely off (as in, no power to the memory, etc.).
i know this is done on some pc laptops (i know compaq and dell, at least, have a few models that do this).
thanks!

this is not possible on PPC AFAIK. I may be wrong but I've never heard mention of this working on PPC |
