I've setup printing following the documentation. Printing from X apps (e.g. Mozilla) works fine. Howerver

ends up like that. My printer is a postscript laser (Lexmark Optra E310). What have I missed? _________________ The true guru is a teacher.

Redhat's printer config utility had a feature to send line feeds in order to counteract "stair-stepping" of text. I'm not sure what printing sub-system you're using, but that is usually the cause. If you're using CUPS did you configure the printer as a RAW printer, or as a PostScript printer.

The lexmark is set as a RAW printer. There does not seem to be any options in the Cups admin (localhost:631) to set up a simply postscript printer. _________________ The true guru is a teacher.
