|
|
I'm trying out OSSv4 for my sound drivers. I installed libflashsupport per instructions on the oss site. Everything works well except for:
1) Flash videos. There is a loud shuddering noise at the start of every video. This happens on YouTube, vimeo, hulu, etc.
2) Legacy apps that try direct access to /dev/dsp using mmap. Namely, old quake1 engines. This isn't a "must fix" but if there is any way around this let me know.
I tried the oss-devel package to see if that would solve any problems. It did not.
Here's my ossinfo

Solved
I just removed libflashsupport and everything worked fine...
If you know a way to fix problem 2 let me know. |
