Hello, i have just upgraded from tuxonice 2.6.24-r9 to 2.6.8 and have problem with hwclock, on boot i get fail error and on running from console i get error

Code:

# hwclock
Cannot access the Hardware Clock via any known method.
Use the --debug option to see the details of our search for an access method.

I have checked the bug report and edited

nano -w /etc/modprobe.d/pnp-aliases

Code:
alias pnp:dPNP0b00 rtc-cmos

All rtc kernel settings are built into kernel.

Any ideas?

cheers
